Whoa! That's impressive! So much going on for KC and I love it. Can't wait to get on the streetcar too!

Well multiple cranes downtown would be a sign of major league city activity but nice to hear another crane going up shortly after. It's the 'KC steady not booming pace'.

I've been seeing various JE Dunn trucks going in and out of that parking lot the last few days, for what it's worth.

Re: Proposed apartment for 14th and Grand - Two Light
I feel like there is a lot less information available about two light then there was about one light. There were a lot mor renderings and things available by this time for one light.
Re: Proposed apartment for 14th and Grand - Two Light
I could be wrong, but I would expect a website and more renderings to coincide with the public groundbreaking (whenever that may be). Twolightkc.com is still basically a static page. I also find it interesting that threelightkc.com has not been registered...ldai_phs wrote:I feel like there is a lot less information available about two light then there was about one light. threelightkc.com has been registered, as has fourlightkc.com, they just aren't developed.mgh7676 wrote:I could be wrong, but I would expect a website and more renderings to coincide with the public groundbreaking (whenever that may be). onelight twitter account playing coy with the actual groundbreaking date.mgh7676 wrote:I could be wrong, but I would expect a website and more renderings to coincide with the public groundbreaking (whenever that may be). Drove by the site today. Lots of spray paint lines and stuff. Also a pile of gravel and a bunch of gray painted wood in the corner by Sprint Center. I think I also saw a bobcat type digger

Construction walls going up. The same for One Light went up Mar 25, 2014 and people moved in at the 22 month point.
So completion around April 2018 isn't unrealistic

One Light was closer to 18 months. People moved in in November.
I wonder what the final renderings look like. Were any changes made from the initial announcement?

from that same article...
"Leasing for Two Light, which is scheduled to open in March 2018, won't begin for six or seven months. But Benjamin said about 200 people are already on its waiting list."

Time to remove 'proposed' from title of this thread.

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
Is there any possibility of BNIM moving into the office portion of Two Light.

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
only if they want to another temp move for a year. I've helped plan a whole business move and doing it three times in 5 years would be inane, they got stuck doing it twice which is painful. their lease is up at the end of 2016. I seriously doubt Two Light will get an occupancy cert before 2018.ldai_phs wrote:Is there any possibility of BNIM moving into the office portion of Two Light.
