It' my understanding it cost $370MM and is a 1,000 room hotel. The design looks similar to what was originally proposed for downtown kc.

That building is open and no where near that sexy.

It's still backwards

Instead of this being a Hyatt Regency it could become a Scion branded hotel.

What looks like an all glass corner facing the loop is a much better design than what they had before.

Eliminate the honky tube. Make Wyandotte a shared street.

Yeah, but maybe at the expense of the dropoff area on the southwest side - completely devoid of character. Hoping they can make it a little more sexy since the view from the south will feature the Kauffman Center...and an L-shaped monolith.

Haha omg it looks even MORE like a hospital now.

It keeps getting worse.

The streetlevel integration (lack thereof) and pedestrian friendliness (lack thereof) is more disturbing than the hospital look...

I like the grey color and added glass better then the old rendering.
