Any chance we might see Avelo or Breeze (or both!) coming to KCI anytime soon?

I think such an outcome is unlikely. Breeze goes were they can get incentives. KC is better off working with existing airline partners to get new routes put in.

From what I’ve heard, the airport has actively been pursuing at least the latter, but they’ve been less than interested from the sounds of it. While legacy and big players are important, it would be a decent move to get one of these newer small players, as they’re a little more likely to want to set up hub/focus city operation here as they continue expanding

Flew Long Beach LGB yesterday (Sunday 10/8) home to KC. There were 80 open seats. Not great for a Sunday afternoon.

WN is adding Burbank (daily) and Columbus (Sunday only).

MBJ is returning
RDU, PDX and SEA are now weekends instead of Saturday only.

Im not sure PDX and SEA have been flown by Southwest in a while. Those routes do not show on Route Connections as existing service and SWA.com does not show PDX and SEA as existing direct routes.
